The Constant component provides a single output of a user specified value at its output. This is a highly convenient component when providing parameter based input to multiple other that must be the same. For example, with digital signals, one might have a Signal Generator component, a Windowing Component and an FFT component (perhaps more than one) where each components computations must be made given the same input frequency. Set the constant component value to the desired frequency and connect it to the appropriate input receptacles in the signal processing components. Other applications might be to synchronize timers or to set boundaries for comparison components. Set the Components output value in the component properties dialog.
