The 7 segment LED component displays a single numeric digit. It provides a single input for each of the 7 segments of the display. When not in simulation mode, the component shows the segment number within the light area of each segment to facilitate connection consistency. While the LED display is not found in the run-time library, it can be used as an in-IDE test of connections that can be exposed as system outputs for connection in the run-time environment to an actual display.
