Description: |
The Pattern Generator component allows the production of user created binary patterns of up to 32(N) elements in length. By utilizing the component properties dialog box, new outputs are created along with 2^N possible patterns.
Each pattern is assigned a unique integer 'trigger' value. When this trigger value is presented to the component through the trigger input, the associated bit pattern is generated across the outputs, and made available to all consumer components. Each of these outputs will have either the one or 0 assigned to it by the user when the pattern was created.
Utilizing a pre-configured set of patterns and calling them up with a single integer value, is an effective way to drive and control input to other components in a parallel and tightly regulated process. Driving a digital display or setting parameters for multiple instruments all at once, given some circumstance, are examples of possible use. |

Inputs: 2 |
Enable
Boolean input of 1 or 0, ON or OFF, enabling or disabling pattern generation. If off, all outputs are 0. Default is ON.
Pattern Number
The unique trigger number to cause the associated pattern to be produced at the outputs. When creating patterns in the properties dialog box, a default unique trigger number will be provided. This number can be customized as well.
