Description: |
The Segmenter Single Output provides the ability to evaluate a non-array input of type double and return a single integer value representing its value lying within a custom specified range. For instance, if the input is less than zero, the output is 0, if greater than zero, the output is 1. Now adding a few more segments to this range, could allow a higher return value of 2 if the value is higher than say, 10. There is virtually no limit to the number of thresholds that can be added. The thresholds are added in the component properties dialog box. Within the dialog, there is a visual element that facilitates selection and customization of these threshold-based segments along a continuous number line. |

Inputs: 1 |
Input Value
The value that is to be evaluated for segmentation. Based on the rules for integer response, the value will be compared against an integer-ranged infinite number line.

Outputs: 1 |
Integer Out
An integer value as specified by the user that will indicate that the input value lies within a custom range along an infinite number line.
