AIB2 Components - Signal Windowing

Category: |

Description: |
The Signal Window component provides a set of some of the more common signal pre-processing windowing functions. These types of functions help prevent spectral leakage in FFT processing. Thus a typical implementation of this feature is as a step immediately prior to sending the digital signal to the FFT component. Compare the same signal to two similarly configured FFT components, with one being processed with a window function prior on the other not. The sharpness of the FFT resolution on key frequencies is visualized with comparative charts on each of the respective FFT array outputs. |
